Old Oaken Bucket Trophy Football Game – Indiana University Hoosiers & Purdue University Boilermakers

It was a beautiful day on Saturday in Minnesota! Was it warm enough for this time of year! It was 88 degrees today in my 5th-grade son’s school. Pop Warner football team got slightly warm today. What exactly is Pop Warner Football have to have to do with you? Let me give you a brief story if I am able to.

It is evident that the game played today was filled with emotion-filled rollercoaster for us as parents. (I am certain it was the same for the coaches and players!) In any case, the first quarter was one of back and forth, with each team moving the ball across the field before coming up with a plan to degrade themselves. If it was a fumble, penalty or missed opportunities, the first half was concluded with 8: 7. In the second, it was essentially identical to the first, and at halftime, the score stood at 14 all.

Okay, a quick “back to business” time here. Wouldn’t you love it for us if we had the half-time? In my football career, one of the most crucial 15 minutes was half-time. This is when all good coaches can make the necessary adjustments to improve the second half. However, in real life most of us are either too busy or unwilling to take the “half time break” to review and adjust to the situation we’re in. Wouldn’t you love it for us all to make the necessary changes in our lives that would ensure the best “second half”? Sure it would. Okay, let’s get return to the game’s overview!

The third quarter came to an end without scoring. We were twice close to scoring, only to be denied by penalties and the turnover. We were able to prevent their offensive from playing the ball in an efficient manner. The 4th quarter is about to begin with the score remaining at a tie. The 4th quarter, our offensive line began to take the defensive players off the line. It was evident that their defense start to fatigue due to the extreme heat. Our team’s strength began to gain momentum. We sprinted through on the pitch and scored. We were now ahead by 21-14 There were still eight minutes left to play. Our defense held, and we regained the ball just under six minutes remaining. The offensive team was able to effortlessly move around the field to score another touchdown. Defense held , and we were able run out the clock and secure the win! With 4 and 1 left on the year with only one game left until the playoffs, they look quite great! Now back to reality and our lives.

It’s true that the game this afternoon reminded me of the ways in which our lives could be very similar to the football game. We start in our daily lives (our the first half) taking in all the knowledge we can from birth to the age of 18. After that, we can go on to further our education or enter in the workforce. (2nd quarter is in the air) At certain points in our lives we glance up and realize that we’ve gone over “half time” and are in the 3rd quarter. In a flash we will be retired and needing the right amount of money to make it happen are looking us straight directly in the eye. We’re wondering when and if we will be able to begin this fourth year of our life, and how we’ll be capable of being able be able to “go the distance” financially. Of course, this assumes that our lives don’t bring us a lot of “fumbles, interceptions or penalties”.

Where are you where you are in the “game” of life? 2nd Quarter? 3rd Quarter? 4th Quarter? It doesn’t really matter where you’re at. It’s time to get off the road and start yourself on your own “half time” right now. What is this referring to?

This means that what you’re performing for the sake of “win the game” better get you to your objectives. If it appears that your years are passing through faster than your accomplishments แนะนำเว็บแทงบอล You need to alter your strategy.
